How well does Rogaine really work (esp. over time)? I am just now coming back to these boards after several years, because I've **finally** been diagnosed! I suspected I had pcos YEARS ago, but the doctors never diagnosed me, and pretty much drug their feet on everything.
Ok, anyway.......My doc yesterday actually said the words....PCOS! My testosterone once again came back a little high, despite being on Spironolactone and bcps(that my derm actually gave me!). The other hormones looked ok. My MAIN symptom (and I only have a couple pcos symptoms anyway) is HAIRLOSS!
So, my ? is......does Rogaine really work (if ONLY to stop hairloss/keep what yuo have)? I've tried it on and off many times, but I realize that I should stay on it for good if I go back on. I'm willing to do this if I think it would help even a little bit.
TIA!
BTW.....I've been losing hair for 6 years (and I'm only 33!)
