I was told bcp's are bad for pcos because aside from masking the hormone issues, they release a hormone (forgot which one) that makes IR even worse.

So what makes YAZ ok for pcos?
and how does it help pcos symptoms? does it lower testosterone levels?
does anyone take it together with metformin?

Yaz has a unique kind of progesterine that is a derivative of Sprio. It is equivalent to 25 mg Sprio. However, all Birth Control Pills may increase insulin resistance. Even Yaz and Yasmine.
