I have not been "officially" diagnosed with PCOS, but i have been prescribed Metformin to help regulate my cycle as well as help with ovulation.
I have started out with taking 500mg of Metformin once a day for a week and I have now progressed up to 2 times a day. I was having a bad bathroom related reaction to the metformin, and that has now slowly stopped. I am looking really for more info regarding metformin and TTC while taking metformin. A "friend" from another site that I am on suggested stopping by here so I thought I would check it out!!
Any info is welcomed!!
Thanks!!

Welcome! I find the met only bothers my GI track when I don't eat enough with it. Also, you should avoid high-fat and high-sugar foods and drink lots of water.
Thanks so much. I figured out the sugar & greasy foods really quick (not that I really eat much of that anyways) but thanks for the heads up. I think my OB only wants me to take the met. twice a day for now until I see her again. I have started to tolerate it a little better now that I know my boundries!!
