Talking Howdy from a Newbie

Howdy Yall
I'm new here, but so glad I found this website. My name is Keri & I'm almost 32. I am married & have one child who is 8.
I was finally diagnosised about 4 years ago. We had been trying to have another child with no avail & I was having horrible abdominal pain. I had my first surgery the following spring. I'm back on that route now, after loosing insurance & life getting in the way. I'm scheduled to go in again on the 20th. Last time, they found a cyst that was swelled up so big, when it was drained, they took off over a cup of fluid. I have all the usual side effects - weight problems, acne, facial hair, hair loss on my head, mood swings, etc etc. I'm just glad I found somewhere where I am understood. It took a long time for my husband to understand...but he's male, what do you expect? But my family don't get it either. I have tried to educate them about it, but they just act like I'm making it up since it's not something that can be seen or touched.
anyways, I'm glad I found this place & I hope to make some new friends & learn more about PCOS along the way.
~ Keri
