Hey girls. HAPPY V-DAY. I have a question, Last month (January) i had my first real period - No BCP's just taking glucophage - I was expecting to get my period on February 4th. I did a HPT last night and got a "+" I really do want to be excited but I am wondering if PCOS can cause a false result on the test? Does anyone know or know where i might be able to find info on it? Thank you

Yeah I have heard that before too. You should go to a free pregnancy care center and have them do a blood test.

Hi! First off CONGRATS!!!!! To answer youre question NO pcos cannot give you a false pos hpt. There is a certain kind of cyst that can give you a false pos but it's very very rare. I got pg on met when we were on a break from ttc, it's a wonderdrug You should see a doc to confirm but a line is a line
