OK, maybe I'm just a wimp! Ha! I went for my HSG this am! Of course I was scared. I took my 800mg Advil. When I got there ready to get it done, my cervix wasn't wanting to cooperate!! So she said something about going around to the side of the uterus? OK, so I ain't gonna lie...I have never felt pain like that before! Perhaps it's cause she had to go into the side? I'm not really sure! I thought I was doing fine. I got to work and walked up 2 flights of stairs and OMG I had the MOST awful sharp constant pain. By the time, I got to the unit I work at, I was in tears! Mine doesn't feel like the "cramp" type feeling that some people experience...mine feels like my uterus was ripped clean out! lol BUT on a good note....everything looked good! So we'll see what the CD13 u/s shows on Thursday! Hoping for some good follicles, so I can trigger soon!

I had mine the other week. My best friend really built it up as a painful experience with dye coming out for days. She is not an exaggerator, but my experience was not like that. The doctor explained everything before he started, when I would feel the cramps and for how long. That really helped. It was over before I knew it. They also provided pads in the restroom where I changed. I saw little if any dye at all for the next few days.

Hope this helped some.
