Thumbs up HSG Today!

I had my HSG this morning and I am golden, no blockage!

The pain and discomfort I experienced was quite a shock and that was before the dye was injected. I was in so much pain that I was ready to quit and skip the procedure. I had a mini breakdown, crying, shaking and hiccupping. The Dr. said we could quit if the pain was too much and before they even got to the left fallopian tube I said stop.

Fortunately, the Dr. is a lot smarter than I am and continued. I was able to see my itty-bitty uterus and spaghetti thin fallopian tubes; I am so relieved. I did take two OTC pain relievers about 45 minutes before and now I am only feeling mild cramps, nothing debilitating. I could have easily gone into the office after the procedure but I decided to take a personal day and relax.

This is the only place I feel comfortable discussing my fertility issues and I could not pass up the opportunity to get the experience off my chest. Thank you fellow soulcysters!
