I have to say things are getting better the more I hold her or cuddle. It seems to give her more energy than even the sex-even to do the dishes. If you can imagine. Shes coming back again to the woman I first met and I just hope things stay this way. Does anyone know if women get worse if they are on medication? I mean down the line if we get married will it get worse? If she stays on this medicine things should stay in remission is what I think.

I can't say for certain what will happen. Its great that she's seeking treatment. Encourage her to stay the course. Don't ever forget to tell her how much she means to you and how much you loves her.

My wife hasn't been seeking treatment and our relationship has suffered because of it.

However, things may be looking up. We had a fight on Friday and a lot of things came out. I told her about how scared I was, the crying at night, all the pain I've been feeling. I told her how unfair it was that she wasn't getting help. That it wasn't fair to me, wasn't fair to our daughter and most importantly, wasn't fair to herself.

I caught her reseraching alternative therapies on the internet the next day but I didn't say anything. She came home yesterday with some herbals. Maybe I finally got through to her.

I don't know why some women are resistant to getting help. I remember my mother going menopausal and if my dad begged her to go on hormones so she would yell '**** you!' My mom was hormonal early and resistant for years and let me tell you - MAJOR damage to their relationship. I just don't get why women resist but I'm hormonal in different pathetic ways-very sappy.

I'm just happy for that you got thru!!! And no doubt maybe she was talking w her sisters and they are throwing up a mirror for her to see herself. Make sure you let her know if you can, that herbal remedies doses need to be tripled if the woman is over 180 pounds. I know....aything less will be a waste of money-wont work.

Neechogan, I am so glad that you seem to have finally made some progress with her wanting to help herself. I hope she brought home stuff that can help her. Keep in mind that alternative remedies sometimes take quite awhile to help. I wish you both much luck and happiness! You are an awesome DH.
