I have just been told by my ob/gyn that I have hyperplasia. I am taking 20mg of megtrace once a day for 3 months then repeat biopsy. I also have PCOS.

Has anyone here have or has had hyperlasia? Was you able to conceive?

I appreciate any information that you give me.

Hi there!

I also have hyperplasia. I'm not actively ttc, but as far as I know, once it's "taken care of" then I don't see how it would cause a problem.

Hopefully someone else can answer your question. I just wanted you to know you weren't alone.

I have Complex Hyperplasia with atypia which is the stage before Endo Cancer, so I have been told.
I had a biospy on 12/20/04 to get DX.
Then was DX with PCOS.
Saw GYN Oncologist on 1/7/05--did transvaginal US and put me on Megestrol, 160mg a day.
So far I've been on it for 3 weeks now and I've had difficulty breathing (as in walk across floor and feel like I've ran around the block), increased appitite, and I've been stuck in PMS limbo--feeling like crap but nothing productive yet.
I'm supposed to have a D & C on 3/8/05.

Let me know how you are doing on the Megace/Megestrol. Thanks and God Bless!
