Default HYPERthyroid

I've always tended towards the side of hyperthyroid and during my second pg I was actually hyperthyroid and had to take medicine etc. One of my daughters was born with hypothyroid and had to take medicines for 2 years. For whatever reason, she "outgrew" it? Doctors refused to speculate the weirdness of all this. Anyway, since then I haven't had thyroid problems but have still been on the bordery of hyperthyroid.

Now why did I type all this? Don't know LOL was just an interesting observation when seeing all the info about hypo, just wondered if I was the only pcoser with Hyperthyroid issues.

I also tend toward hyPER thyroid. During my second pregnancy, my TSH was 0.12 mIU/L. It did go up to 0.49 by 8 weeks postpartum, but that's just on the edge between normal and abnormal.

Autoimmune thyroid disease starts out hyper and then moves to swinging between hyper and hypo, and then finally to hypo. It's all part of the process.

There is Grave's disease which is hyper, but it is much worse hyper than plain hashimoto's gets.
