Thanks for posting about the Diabecon. I may continue to research this and add it to my regiment if I do not see any changes. I'm currently taking Hyponidd but will add M2 Tone as soon as it arrives.

Is anyone else taking M2 Tone with Hyponidd as advised by Charak for PCOS?

Warmly,
I'm wondering if this is why you are experiencing this:
from the Ayurveda For All website:

"In patients on other oral hypoglycemic drugs (OHAs) one tablet twice a day may be added initially for a week.

Once satisfactory response is achieved, the dosage of OHAs may be slowly reduced and the dosage of Hyponidd to be increased to two tablets twice a day."

Thus far, I've definitely been able to tell that the herbal helps with the sugar up and downs. If I take it properly and on time, I don't want to sleep afterwards.

I certainly also felt tired on Metformin XL, but then I was completely intolerant to the stuff. I couldn't sleep for throwing up.

I haven't had any adverse reactions to Hyponidd. I talked to my doctor about taking it and she had never heard of it. I brought her the article at the beginning of this thread and was very interested. She's done some research on D-chiro-insitol and was glad to see that it was a component in one of the ingredients.

So right now I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that this helps bring my testosterone levels down and my progesterone up. "Tired" of shaving my face doesn't really cover that level of frustration, does it?

hello there...just read that you've got high testosterone levels and you're on Hyponidd...any luck? I was thinking of taking Hyponidd too and switching from Metformin...

Just a quick update.
1 week into Hyponidd and no notable side effects.

Default Testosterone and Hyponidd

I'm half-way through my 3rd month of taking Hyponidd. I've reduced my dosage from 3 pills a day to 2 pills a day. I'm still eating much more than I normally would, but my morning blood sugar is still very low, usually like 74.

I do not yet know if this has had any real impact on my testosterone levels. In two weeks I will visit my Dr and have my blood tested-- mainly to make sure it's not making things worse. I'll keep you informed, but my doctor (and I) believe it will take a full 6 months before any notable change in testosterone levels or the resulting symptoms.

Has anyone heard about Ayurvedic products containing lead, mercury and/or arsenic? I know many of us have bought HYPONIDD from Ayurvedic on-line stores, so you may want to check this out. I'm not sure what to do really.

Since I'm not allowed to post links yet, google "Ayurvedic Medicines May Contain Lead, Mercury or Arsenic"

really is that true? So you mean to say that Hyponidd contains lead or mercury? I'm quite scared now...are you thinking of discontinuing with Hyponidd or any other herbal medication?
I thought herbal and ayurvedic products were totally safe!

A while back, when lots of us were trying the herb, we did email charak the makers of hyponidd and they assured us that the minerals in hyponidd are purified and contain no contamination of heavy metals or chemicals.

So not to worry about such things

I hope that's true though, cos you know they're the manufacturers themselves they'd definitely say that to reassure their customers to buy their product...sorry I'm just being sceptical as I don't like to completely believe what companies say...but again it may be true!
So i can see you're on hyponidd Pearl1981.. What's your experience like?
Has it helped you in losing weight and clearing your acne? What about side effects?

I'm very frustrated today. I just got my results back from my dr.

My testosterone is 95-- higher than it's ever been. I'm 3 months into using Hyponidd. Even the BCP didn't jack the levels that high. I don't understand why this is happening. I'm really hungry all the time and it's quite miserable. I'm tapering off the stuff asap.

sorry for any confusion. no, I wasn't saying Hyponidd has these heavy metals. What i meant was that I wasn't sure if it did since some Ayurvedic/herbal remedies do.

Thanks Pearl. I'll probably contact who I bought it from to make sure as well. In the meantime, I stopped until I make that call and talk to my doc.
