Points: 9,291.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 9,291.00 | Hypo, what kind??? Hello all!
What great questions and answers on this board!
I wasn't officially diagnosed with Hypothyroidism, I kept looking at my labs and seeing that i was off, even though my Endo thought that my 5.5 tsh was fine....
Anyway, I am wondering what kind of hypo I have.....
A few years ago I was able to get very thin, and suddenly continued to get very thin, going from about 120 lbs to 110 and then about 105, I thought it was my metabolism, but now I am thinking otherwise. I also got several yeast infections during this time, and I"d never had them before.
Anyways, after going off the pill briefly, my weight started to creep up, and after a yearly pap, the labs my gyne ordered came back with tsh as 6! She said to keep an eye on it...years went by and my weight went up, especially after two pregnancies...
And, I am on the verge of being, I hope, diagnosed correctly with PCOS.
My question is this: My eyes have gotten increasingly puffy, and although some of it is from allergies, I'm wondering if anyone else has this from hypo, and can anything be done about this? Everyone thinks I am either tired or crying. Blah!

imo at 5.5 you are definately hypo.
have you had your antibodies tested ? xo jenn
