Since there are several of us now that are taking Hyponidd I thought we should have our own thread. How is everyone doing? Have you noticed any significant changes? The only change I've noticed is that I now have stomach issues but mostly in the morning and it settles after an hour or so. In the past when I took Metformin I was never monitored to see if I ovulated on it. However we were ttc during that time and I didn't get pg until fertility drugs.
I know the study was based on a 3 month trial period but I was wondering how long should I keep this up until I move on to fertility drug route again?

hey im sorry im not of any use but id like to hear more about your experience with Hyponidd as Im thinking of switching over from Metformin to Hyponidd soon. Ive only just started taking Metformin and am having these psychological effects that it isn't right for me..plus ive been sleeping a hell lot more.
I have PCOS and do not get my periods regularly, have loads of acne and hair all over my face and body. I wanted to know if Hyponidd clears up all these problems or should I go on Dianette? I used to take the Dianette before and it helped in clearing up my skin but not my excessive hair problem.
Im so stressed out!
Good evening. I've had Hyponidd for a few months now but I can't seem to get into the habit of taking it. I just took my first two (again) about 45 seconds ago. lol I'm REALLY going to try to make this a priority.
Good luck!

I have seen a lot of positive changes since taking hyponidd. My skin has cleared up very nicely and my depression has gotten better. My periods are on a 35-40 day cycle now, but that's ok. It's better than nothing. I would highly recommend it as an alternative to Met.
It has definitely lowered my insulin levels although I haven't had the officially tested at the Dr. My skin was very clear until PMS set in. My cycle was 28 days but I'm unsure if I ovulated as I didn't chart consistently. This will be our first official cycle TTC and I plan to chart and do test strips to see if I'm o'ing.

hi all,
i havent started taking the hyponidd yet but im wondering if i should. i do suffer from PCOS but i dont know whether i've got insulin resistance too.
i got my blood tests back and my glucose and insulin levels are normal. the thing is that i get these sudden hunger pangs even like an hour after i've had lunch or dinner. i wonder if that means that my sugar goes down or something.
My GP is useless and has not helped me at all.
Also a question to miracle_baby how do I find out that I'm ovulating?
I got my periods recently after 2 months
As with my hormones, my luteinizing hormone is a lil bit higher than normal, prolactine levels are also a bit higher than normal. Progesterone is quite low and testosterone is a teeny weeny bit high.
I'm also anaemic cos my iron levels are very low.
I've been taking Hyponidd. I actually started having regular AF then got pg. Unfortunately it ended in a m/c..but, it had nothing to do with the Hyponidd.
After the m/c I started taking the hyponidd again last month. I had one cycle and today is day 20 of my cycle...I may have experienced what is implantation spotting. We were supposed to wait to conceive for two cycles...but, I'm not used to being a fertile myrtle. I believe that Hyponidd can work if given a chance. But, I also think that it should be supplemented with other vitamins. Vitamin B, Chromium, Vitex (I take this regularly expect for the week of my period).
Also, (I know this may sound weird) but when my insulin levels and pcos is out of whack, I can tell because I have this brown spot on top of my right big toe that gets very dark. It is hardly noticeable when I'm taking the hyponidd.
