Well I've officially been on Hyponidd for a week! I'm calling it my magic blue pill because when I started cinnamon and chromium almost a month before I got the Hyponidd, I saw improvements but my hormones started making a wave in my life. Literally I charted my mood swings by day and I had a good day followed by a bad day followed by a good day over and over and over. My body adjusting to me trying to control the IR took a big hit but like a lot of other girls have been saying about Hyponidd when I take it I feel much better, emotionally and physically. I've only had two days of weepiness but I'd much rather take that than be ripping people's heads off every other day.

None of my clothes fit anymore lol and for once in my life it's for a good reason: they're too big! I thought I'd have to wait until at least Christmas to get my new belt (that was a big goal for me, I've been wearing my DAD's belt for years and I want to be able to have a nice fashionable belt but none of them would fit me until I lose enough weight) but it might be sooner than that.

Today I upped my dose to the recommended dosage of two pills twice a day and I'm thrilled to say that I didn't experience hypoglycemia like I was scared I might or any other adverse s.e.'s. Now all that's left is to stick with it and look forward to a brighter future!

Default still waiting

im on hyponidd since the past 1 week and ive been taking 1 tablet before lunch and 1 tablet before dinner. I haven't had my periods as yet its been more than a month...and although im breaking out less...i seem to have gained a lil bit of weight. That may be due to my sedentary lifestyle and lack of activity/exercise....i dont know i feel so crap...i havent lost my appetite as i eat the same quantities i used to....
when will the hyponidd start to show its effects or am i going to keep gaining weight im so scared!

Well I'll add an update too as I think its important to keep this thread alive

I'm a week into hyponidd and haven't noticed any major changes. Haven't lost any weight but my appetite is reduced (though still craving things) - I'm hoping AF arrives in a reasonable time and hyponidd doesn't prolong the length as normally happens when i start taking herbs.

Keep it up girls - lets see what can happen

xxxxxx

Has anyone in the USA ordered hyponidd without it getting stopped by the FDA at customs?

I don't know. It took five days to reach me after I received the email that it had been shipped. Would the package be marked at all if it had been stopped? I'm sure it has to go through some kind of inspection at customs, but I'm not sure what.

You answered my question
It wouldn't be delivered at all if it was stopped so now I can order!
Thanks!

THERAPEUTIC RATIONALE (For PCOS):
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) affects 6-10 % of women population and it is very often associated with insulin resistance. PCOS leads to amneorrhoea, anovulation, oligomenorrhoea, hirsutism etc.

HYPONIDD in PCOS improves ovulatory function and several metabolic derangements associated with insulin resistance. HYPONIDD decreases the insulin resistance and thereby corrects the three axes namely metabolic, reproductive and steroidogenic. Flavonoid constituents of Pterocarpus marsupium like marsupin, pterosupin and epicatechin are insulinogenic because of post-receptor intracellular mediation by d-chiro-inositol. HYPONIDD thus, is safe and effective insulin sensitizer for the treatment of PCOS.
THERAPEUTIC RATIONALE (For diabetes):
HYPONIDD is a combination of herbs and minerals for diabetes treatment. The ingredients are proven to have a definite beneficial effect not only in lowering blood sugar levels but also in lipid lowering effect. The cumulative pharmacological action of HYPONIDD is insulin sensitizing, antihyperglycemic, hypolipidemic and antioxidant. HYPONIDD minimizes the chances of diabetic complications, if started sufficiently early.
Indications
In PCOS associated with adolescent infertile women on oral contraceptive pills: As insulin sensitizer. Long-term management of PCOD.
Adjuvant to OHA, or a stand alone in newly detected cases of mild diabetes mellitus.
Dosage
In Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS): recommended dose is 2 tablets twice daily for 3-6 months.

In Diabetes: 2 tablets twice daily, half-an-hour before meals or as directed by the Physician.
PRECAUTIONS FOR DIABETICS
HYPONIDD, like any other antidiabetic medication, requires routine monitoring of blood/urine sugar levels, especially when HYPONIDD is prescribed as an add-on medication with existing OHAs. HYPONIDD, again, like the OHAs will achieve a better control of disease when integrated with dietary discipline and controlled physical activity.
Presentation
Tablets: Blister pack of 20 tablets, enclosed in a catch cover.

There are 2 Hyponidd threads opened, so I wanted to make sure I had a space in both, here's what I put in the other thread:

Wow! It has taken me a few days to get through the original post and to the end of this one. I've been a member of soul cysters for a while, but always just a lurker.
Pearl, congratulations on your beautiful little girl!

Just a little about me:
I was diagnosed with PCOS and Type II Diabetes on my 16th Birthday in 2003. My mom had ready an article in a Magazine that had listed all the symptoms that I have (except for infertility of course). Before DX dr. put me on BCP bc I had only had 1 period when I was 15 and nothing else until the Dx. I can't tell you how many BCP's I've been on as they will work for anywhere from 3-6 months then stop working completely and I'll have to switch kinds. Doc had me on Met for about 2 years, I had ALL the side effects I'm sure you that have taken it has too. Ill stomach, diarreah (SORRY TMI), etc. Close to the end of me taking it I would start to get the shakes, dizzy, cold and clammy, every time I would take it. I was taking 2000Mg a day. This past March I went back to the doctor and asked to be retested for Diabetes.
- - - Oh, my symptoms are of course no AF whatsoever without the help of BCP, hirsutism (bad enough to shave every other day), dark patches around neck, under arms, between leggs, and on knees and elbows. I have psoriasis which is also a contributing factor to PCOS, obesity, no ovulations at all, oily skin - not so much acne though on the face, but on my back and chest i do, hidden depression, infertility, skin tags, and only the Lord knows what else there is.- - - -

When I went back for retesting the results came back great! The doctor said that I have no reason to be Dx'd with diabetes my levels were fine (I dont know if this was an improvement or a mis dxis the first time). I still an IR and have PCOS though.

While reading about Hyponidd, all you ladies have inspired me so much. I've never been much of a "naturalist" so to speak, but I don't want to use Met anymore, and definitely don't want to take a prescription if I can find something healthier for me. It's kind of intimidating purchasing something from across the Globe, but from what I see there haven't been any issues that have come up with shipping. What is your preference site ladies?

I have been writing down all the different supplements that I have seen from you all, and I'm going to research what each of them are. Knowing my issues, does anyone have any suggestions on a combination of what would be good for me? I know you all aren't doctors, but you know what I'm going through! I'm kinda leaning towards Hypnidd, Cinnamon, and Milk Thistle....what would be a good source of energy to take, and something to help depression?? I'm not TTC right now, have a wedding coming up in March 2010 and then its fair play from there! I'm just trying to get my body ready in advance and hope that I don't have to struggle with conception.

I'm eager to learn more about other herbal treatments and hopefully get on the track with the rest of your (sorry this is so long)
Congratulations to each and every one of you. I may not know you, but I definitely know what you are going through and how tough it is to get where you have all gotten!!!

There are several other threads on here about hyponidd so just search for that and you'll be likelier to find the info you're looking for. I got mine from the India Abundance website. I haven't started it yet. It could induce O, just as any other remedy it works different for everyone. Presuming you're on Provera to induce a period, you'll probably want to finish your current refill, because unlike Provera, hyponidd probably won't induce an almost-immediate period. I'm no expert on this, so definitely read the other threads! Good Luck!

The dosage of Hyponidd for PCOS is 1-1-1. It is actually an anti diabetic drug from Ayurveda.
