Hi,
I just wanted to put my experience with Hyponidd on here. I don't know what, but I certainly have not been lucky at all with it.

I started taking it this August. I was taking 4 tablets a day. 2 before lunch and 2 before dinner. I felt very bloated while on it. I almost felt like I had gained weight. Which did turn out to be the case.
Before I started Hyponidd I weighed about 125lbs. I had lost about 15 lbs in the last year from dieting and eating right. I felt amazing.

For 3 weeks in September, I had cramps every day like I was PMSing. I do get my periods but my cycles are about 45 days long. With Hyponidd I didn't have a period from August to September at all. I was feeling so crappy I decided to stop taking it. I almost felt like it was stopping my period.

The week I stopped taking it, I got my period like I was supposed to and the cramping stopped.

In mid October, my mom noticed a bald spot in my hair!!!!!! I've been freaking out ever since. The spot looked like it had been there for a while and some of the hair was growing back. Now 2 months later, the spot has gone from about 2 inches wide to 1 centimeter. Most of the hair has come back, but I still have that small spot at the back of my head where only some hair is growing. I am totally freaked out. I LOVED my hair before.

This is by far the worst thing that has happened to me. I fee like 42 instead of 24. Ugh, I wish I had never tried this thing.

I have to admit that I did notice before that I was losing more hair than probably what is normal, but I never had a bald spot appear in one month.

As far as the one research report I have read online about Hyponidd vs Met for PCOS, the study is done by researchers in India. My parents are from India, and what I can tell you is that there is no gaurantee that this study was even done. WE have no proof whatsoever. How do we know that the control groups were effectively chosen? Who were the people involved in this study? Where were these women chosen from? Is there any independent non profit organization associated with this research? As far as we know, it could be a bogus report crafted by Chakra Pharma (parent company of Hyponidd).

I am not bashing herbal remedies here. There are some very good herbal remedies out there, the sad part is that there is no independent research. These remedies are so cheap that no one cares to put in well thought out research into them.

Please think twice before putting something in your body. I wish I had.

OMG...i feel exactly the same. Ever since Ive been on Hyponidd ive put on loads and I feel like my skin is jus gettin worse to be honest it hasnt been great for me...im taking 4 tablets a day of Hyponidd and 2 of M2-Tone.
I really dont know if I should continue, Ive ordered so many from my dad cos hed gone to India that they'll probably be thrown into the bin.
I was on the contraceptive pill earlier and although it did clear my acne my hair growth was the same....
I know what you mean by the reports from Chakra...we cannot rely on them as they could be jus false and being Indian myself I know what you mean by these organizations we dont know much about them...
I know a lot of girls on this forum have infact benefited from Hyponidd but I haven't
I need help ive been taking hyponidd and m2-tone religiously since the past 3 months but there is no improvement whatsoever! I feel really ugly and depressed!

Hi notorious_gurl,
I guess I'm not the only unlucky one here. It just feels so crappy to know that my body reacted so badly to a herbal remedy that has apparently worked for other people.

If taking hyponidd is not making you feel better, I would suggest stop taking it. By the way where are you from? I'm from NJ.

I must have called about 15 endos today to make my first appointment. I have an appointment on March 13th! What am I supposed to do until then? Sit and watch my hair fall out everday??? I washed my hair yesterday and I lost about 60 strands of hair :*(. I feel so ugly and crappy and unlovable.

I really don't know what to do. I see no way out of my mess of a life. No hope at all.

It was around this time of year when I was diagnosed and trying to make an endo appt too and I was told it would be April. But with the weather inevitably there will be cancellations on icky days, so if you live close to the endo (as in it would be safe for you to drive) call them to see if there are any openings! I work about 10 minutes from my endo so that's what I did and they were like...can you be here in 15 minutes?! Sorry that you're feeling so down and hopeless. Good luck!

I just ordered mine today from http://www.madanapalas.com/hyponidd-...ets-p-261.html

I liked that website because you could use paypal. Plus I had the hardest time with indiaabundance. It would never let me login. And It never showed a secure connection. Anyways I can't wait for it to get here!

First of all wishing you a happy new year bkaur! I hope this new year brings you lots of luck in every form! I know exactly how you feel cos im going through the same thing. I havent benefited from Hyponidd, infact its made me put on more weight, have more acne and also not reduced my hairfall at all.
Its tough to get an appt with the endo since theyre so fully booked and have a huge waiting list but like someone else suggested try ringing up in between they might jus have space to fit u in when someone else cancels their appt at the last moment...
Im from Spain by the way...
I can totally relate to u...just wanted to ask you if you started taking Hyponidd on ur own or did u consult with someone else before? I started taking it on my own...but its only made matters worse so now I've ceased it altogether. Im not going to stop M2-Tone though and some multivitamin tablets with zinc...
Im sorry i cant be of any help to you as I dont know whats wrong...ive not had my periods since 2 months! I was supposed to have them every month after taking the hyponidd but i havent! This means that Hyponidd isnt the right medicine for us...we need to try something else or we might have an underlying problem that's different from others?
Ive just read someone mention Triphala which is taken with hot water...its available in india though...apparently this lady says her problems got sorted with that...
Anyone else heard of it?

I've yet to have a period either after being on it for over 1.5 months . I think I'm going to stay on it for awhile longer though, because it's been keeping my weight stable (at least that's what I'm attributing it to!). I haven't put on a single pound from Thanksgiving through New Year's, and I haven't worked out for like 3 weeks (bad, I know...just busy!) and I'm really not being very strict about my diet either, other than staying away from fast food. I've also begun taking a carb blocker w/ white kidney bean extract any time that I eat a starchy meal so that may be helping too.

Hi Ladies

Im so sorry your all going through this I hope you can find something that will help you all. I usually do hyponidd with diet and exercise, as no pill will fix you without that. Even metformin. I do no that the studies were legitimate because the results were published in the 2002 health summit in switzerland, regarding diabetes, and this health summit is part of the world health organisation. I did my research before ingesting the stuff. I think that some of you would be better off on metformin maybe, will you pls be back and tell us how you get on. Happy new year and good luck!

Hyponidd didn't work for me either....I started back on my regular herbs and vitamins and I'm getting back to normal. Sounds like it was a miracle for some...just wish it had helped me. 4 pills a day were easier than all I take now....

For those of you that Hyponidd has not worked for: were you ever on Metformin, and what kind of results did you get on that?

Just order my hyonidd tonight. I have been on glucophage only 6 weeks this time..was one it for 3 years before stopping it 8 months ago because of GI issues...well it wasn't any better this time and I decided I don't want to spend my life in the bathroom...I hope this stuff helps me like so many of you! I did lose 65 pounds the first time on it but gained 24 when I went off. This time I gained a pound in my 6 weeks of misery... gluc also has made me very depressed...maybe because I am affraid to leave the house. Thanks for this post.

Just a quick update ladies!!
I've been on Hyponidd since Jan 1st. I only messed up one of the doses and ate too soon. But I saw you can take it with your food. I've started out with 1 30 minutes before lunch and 1 30 minutes before dinner. When I get to the first week, I'll start the reg. dose of 2 and 2.
I've not had any headaches as of yet. Hopefully I wont. I've not noticed much difference in appetite yet. Except its suppressing it more i've noticed.
I feel kinda weepy today, I saw Pearl say she had that side effect at one point. Hopefully this subsides.

I do have a question though. Does anyone know how far between meals we should be taking this stuff? My lunch and my dinner are pretty close together...Would you say a typical 4-6 hours? or is closer togeter oka too?

How's everone else doin?

You sound so much like me! Had the same issues with metformin. Since starting the herbs below plus a multi-vit, I have regular periods. I'm single right now, so don't know about conception right now.

I'm so excited about the hyponidd. Buying all these herbs has been expensive and don't really know about the interactions between them (I haven't had any adverse reactions) or what dosages I should really be taking.

I'm going to keep reading and may order mine today!!
