Default hypothyroid and high androgens

Hi there -

Has anyone noticed that treating their thyroid has helped lower their androgen levels?

I'm on 250 of flutamide and 1500 of fortamet and I can't seem to get my Testosterone to come down.

I've been diagnosed as slightly hypothyroid and wonder if treating that would somehow help my body to respond to the other things I'm doing.

My thyroid doc is opting to not treat at the moment, but I'm seeing him again in march so maybe his opinion on that will change.

I know I may be grasping at straws here, but since the thyroid has such an effect on our endocrine system, it seems like if one thing is off it might be harder to get other things on track. (am I making any sense at all here?)
