Default Hypothyroid and questions!!

I am currently on synthroid 88mcg once a day....which is an increase after my last 6 week check on the generic.....My doctor (endo) sucks and I am wanting to go see a new endo. Should I go to a RE or just regualar???? Or for now does it matter... thanks

This is simply a matter of opinion, as both types of endocrinologists can treat your thyroid. I, personally, see a regular endocrinologist for my thyroid, and an RE for all other female hormone issues.
