Now I take synthyroid and I 'm wondering whether it will improve the hirsutism? |

Hirsutism relates to too much testosterone in the body which is not a thyroid issue. In some women, their follicles can be so sensitive to testosterone - even what is considered normal levels - that they can be stimulated to grow.
Once stimulated, they'll continue to grow - even after levels are brought down to normal or below normal levels. |

And since thyroxin make hair grow faster, then it can make facial hair worse???? |

And since thyroxin make hair grow faster, then it can make facial hair worse???? | Hirsutism isn't a common symptom of hypothyroidism. More common causes, such as high testosterone levels or normal T levels with low SHBG, insulin resistance, and PCOS should probably be ruled out before claiming that hirsutism is being caused by hypoT.
Most people diagnosed with *just* hypothyroidism will experience hair loss and thinning of the eyebrows, rather than excess hair growth. And this should improve with proper thyroid supplementation.
Also, I wouldn't necessarily say that thyroxine supplementation 'causes hair to grow faster'. Rather, it corrrects the causes of the hair loss, and promotes a more normal rate of hair growth |
