Default Hypothyroidism and serum prolactin levels

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism more than 1.5 years back. Have been on thyroid supplement since.

But about a year back, my gyn checked my serum prolactin levels and found them to be a bit high. She gave me B-Long (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) to lower them. Now again, she suspects they may have gone up and has asked me to take the test.

Anyone else have this problem ? Any feedback ?
I read multiple articles where hypothyroidism has been specified as a cause for increased prolactin levels . High levels of prolactin also can interfere with ovulation cycles thereby delaying periods.

hi
I'm borderline hypo too and my prolactin level was slightly high but within normal. My gyn rx parlodel ( bromocriptine) for 1.5 months for the prolactin and ebexid for hypo.
It is linked. High prolactin may be because of a prolactinoma ie a benign tumour on the pituitary gland which also produces tsh.
