I'm 99.9% sure I dont want kids. I'm just not cut out for them.
So what do y'all think? Anyone had one done at an early age. I'm not but 28. I just have so much to think about right now....

Points: 12,084.56 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 12,084.56 | There's a link in my siggy where I share what we've been thru with TTC, adoption, and my health problems. We have been blessed with two wonderful boys. I will never have biological children. It does make me sad that I'll never be able to create another life with DH; I love him so much and feel it would be one of the greatest honor's to give birth to his biological child. But more importantly, we want to be parents and through adoption, that has been made possible.
For me, I had to ask myself, "Have I done everything I can physically, mentally, and emotionally handle to try and conceive?", "If I do get pregnant in my current condition, would I be the best mommy I could be?"
There are a lot of things to consider but you know your own body and what you want to do in your life. Good luck with your decision.

I'm gonna stop looking back and starting moving on
And learn how to face my fears
Love with all of my heart, make my mark
I wanna leave something here
Go out on a ledge, without any net
That's what I'm gonna be about
Yeah, I wanna be running

I had a lot of pain. I went back to my dr a couple of weeks ago. We talked about it and since my pain is less now and my ovaries are shrinking then he said I really did not need it anymore. We can't have kids. If we could I really don't think I want anymore. I am also 28. I had my dd when I was 20. I think if you have to weigh options then don't do it. I have been begging for mine since I was
17. I am glad I have my dd but I am ready to get this out of me. The dr also told me that the things I am wanting to go away, like the hair on face, would probably only get worse. He said that it is not the case with every one. He just wanted me to be aware that it would probably not go away.
I wish you the best.

It doesn't always aleviate things. I think if you having a doubt, however minute, you owe it to yourself to do some more soul searching. I don't know if this is an option but have you tried bc pills to see if it helps with the symptoms. Another thing you have to think is of your future, your s/o and what that persons plan on having a family will be. I don't think you should deny that to yourself. Like Roxy said it is PERMANENT. I hope you can come to a decision that is good for you and not anyone else, just offering advice that you asked for . Good Luck hun!

Points: 12,084.56 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 12,084.56 | You're right; it's one of the hardest decisions to make. Mine is in a little over two weeks and I will always wonder what might have been. But eventually it comes time to make a decision and not look back. There have been several times throughout the past years that I thought I was at that point but then decided to give it one more try. I don't have any more tries left in me and the pain is just too much.
If anyone considering a hysterectomy thinks you still have some try left, then no, wait on a hysterectomy.

I had been trying for number 2, but it was just not meant to be. I would love to get rid of my ovarian pain and not have Auntie Flo over any more!

im newon here so bare with me,
personally i wouldnt have one but we all make our own choices in life.
i totally understand what your saying i also have a lot of pain,
but with me i want children more than anything so i put up with the pain if it means that someday my dream may come true,
what i would say is that you say that you are 99% that you dont want kids but that leaves 1 % that your not sure
and if you only have that 1% dont do it cos once its done you cant change your mind,
so talk to some of the cysters talk to family and friends
but to chioce at the end of the day is yours
good luck and love

I think it would be something you wouild come to regret sooner rather than later.
I have a friend who has endometriosis and she thought a hysterectomy would solve her problems--well it didn't and she regrets having the hysterectomy.
You should wait IMHO. |
