Frankly, I don't see any need for mine anymore and they are nothing but trouble anyway so why not? That way I don't have to worry about any kind of risk of cancer too.

I guess I just see all my female insides as a bother and I'd rather it all just be gone.

I did mention it to my old ob/gyn and she wouldn't do it. (Also, my insurance wouldn't pay for it without a reason.) I have a new ob/gyn and have other issues going on - see the medication threads! and I have an appointment this afternoon. I am going to talk to him and see what he says...when will this ride stop!?!

Angie- our big boys are just about the same age! Congrats on your pregnancy!
Good luck on the adoption Keela!

Points: 83.96 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 83.96 | I had the Cyro done back in Feb due to unstable AF and sever cramping , it did not take because they think I have endo cells in my uterus wall along with having cysts on my ovaries. They are know wanting to go in and do just an uterus hysterectomy after the first of the year. That way I dont have to deal with the horrible issues from AF anymore but I wont go into menopause. That is one thing I was worried about so they told me they can leave my ovaries so I will still have my hormones.
Have you thought about that option? Might be something to talk to your doctor about. HTH

I'd prefer them to take ovaries and uterus out. I guess I worry about ovarian cancer happening because they're messed up. I don't ovulate, my hormones are whacked anyway.
I see an ad link on hysterectomy: Effects. I'm going to go read that now....

It had nothing to do with my ovaries! But I asked her if she thinks that a hysterectomy should be done. And she says, like always you are too young. But she did say that she would take the ovary with the cyst on it. The other ovary is functioning well and she wants to leave it alone. I guess I should be nervous about that but I want it gone. I told her take whatever she wants. She laughed. I was serious.
