PCOS is a pituitary gland disorder taking out your uterus and your ovaries will not change anything, it can actually make things worse.......
I just had a partial hysterectomy, I still have my ovaries and cervix, but it was an abdominal surgery and the recovery was AWFUL, it is not something that I would go into flippantly, because you spend a good amount of the first 4 weeks feeling lousy and then when you do start feeling better you still are not allowed to do ANYTHING, it SUCKS............
The reason for hysterectomy was completely PCOS unrelated, I was having horrible periods and chronic pelvic pain, now if you are having those issues by all means have the hysterectomy, but don't do it for your PCOS it won't help....
