Default Hysterectomy?

First, please excuse any typos here! I'm on a friends computer and her keyboard is a bit difficult sometimes!

I was wondering if anyone has any info on how having a hysterectomy effects women with PCOS. We're done having kids, we have one boy who is a complete miracle, as I'm sure everyone here understands. But after 4 pregnancies in just under 4 years my wonderful hubby got the old *snip snip* done in Feb.

But in the meantime, I'm breaking out with horrid (for me) acne, my periods are getting worse each time, I'm having migraines and dizzy spells tied in to hormonal shifts, etc, etc.

I'm just done. I think that my dr would consider it if I could show that a hysterectomy could help. So, does anyone know? Anyone done this? As it is I'm looking at going on the bc pill that is for a year. Which I really don't want to do, but I can't do the migraines and dizzy spells. I am so scared that I will fall from the dizzy spells when I'm teaching!

Thanks for any help you can give!

Suzanne
