I was wondering about everyones results that have taken vitex!
how long before you noticed a change? and did you get preggo?
also were you taking anything else?
I was also wondering, it says not to take vitex while on Clomid... if I get prescribed clomid in 3 months when I see my doc again and I am not preggo, how long should I be off vitex before I start the clomid? can I just stop and start the clomid a couple days later?

I've been taking vitex for about 3 months and haven't gotten AF yet. It did even out my temps, though, almost immediately. I found a new ob who also is a master herbalist so I'm hoping he can help determine if this will ever work for me or if I should try something else. (My first consult with him is in 2 weeks)

i took vitex for months with NO effects at all.. didn't help.. didn't hurt... tasted gross! haha! wish you much luck!!
side note: i have a few HIM tattoos too!

as for my HIM tattoos.. i have a heartagram thingy on my back, joy & sorrow on my wrists and ville's signature on my back. hehe..

I've been on Vitex for around 2 1/2 months now and I think I'm doing great on it! Ive had AF regularly ever since and I believe I've O'd twice since Ive taken it too
I just had to come in and say that I love HIM too! Ville's voice just sends shivvers down my spine he is SOOOO hot! lmao
When I get really depressed or anxious or mad I always pop in my HIM CD and sing and cry my little heart out. Their music is so beautiful My Ipod is totally crammed with their songs
I had to share this with you girls because this is my FAVORITE song by them and I love this video because it's so heartfelt the way he sings it in this video
Ugh Im bawling like a little baby listening to this! lol
Have you girls ever heard of The Rasmus? Im in love with their songs too. Im not sure how to embed a song to this forum, so I'll just get a video link from youtube instead. This song makes me feel all sorts of emotions

I started taking Vitex on Oct.6th and it was also cd1. I started off taking 800mg and after 35 days I hadn't ovulated so I bumped it up to 1200mg and got af 12 days later! Now I'm on cd19 and I think I ovulated yesterday but won't know for sure for another few days. I've been on it just over 9 weeks now. It can take 3-6 months for it to work though. HTH. I'm not sure when you should stop taking it if you go on Clomid. I'm not really sure how long it takes to get out of your system. Your dr would want you to have af before starting Clomid anyhow so I would just stop taking the Vitex when you know you'll be doing Clomid. Hopefully you just get your bfp and it won't matter!! my bottle is 80 mg caps and it says take up to 3 a day I can't find any higher doses.. should I take more than 3 of the 80 mg a day then?

I took Vitex for 3 months but in liquid form in the hope that it might bring on my period after stoppin BCP 5 months ago....it didnt do anything im afraid...sorry, i wasnt really helpful,
although the tablets are ment to be a lot better and you know the exact dosage, wheras with liquid its a bit harder.
cool tattoos emumly, i have a full sleeve of japanese flowers and a leg full of korn album covers...among others!  | |

I thought this was a vitex thread not a tattoo and finish rock band thread. Its really great to see that u know and love all these Finnish bands. Are you listening to Nightwish too? I really have to recommend you to look up a Swedish band called Tiamat and the Norwegian band Theater of tragedy.
