I am new, and have asked one of your own to marry me!!!!!
Hi,
I have just asked alaskangrown (misty) to marry me and she has blessed me by saying yes!!!!!!! I know how important this site is to her so I thought I would check it out and say hiya. It is my opinion (although biased) that she is the most wonderful woman in the world. She is strong and beautiful and has the greatest heart I have ever known. She is not at all impressed with my “macho” ways but melts at the little things. I never thought that such a small woman (she is only 5’2” and I am 6’3”) could put me in my place with just a look, but she certainly can. Ha ha, she is going to hurt me later when she finds out I have told you all this, but it’s worth it J I am so proud of her, I am addicted to the gym and now that she is joining me I love that extra time together, in return I have made the switch to the IR way of life. Well she says I tend to ramble when I get excited, she might be right (she usually is).

I know Misty and I just sent her a pm to say congrats! But congrats to you too! It sounds like she found a great guy! You better be good to her there are some cysters here in Anchorage that will put you in line if you don't!

Ohhhh, what a honey! And congrats to you both. So often on the boards you only read about the horrible guys, the ones who make smart remarks and refuse to understand. It is very refreshing to see one so in love with his lady, and so understanding. Best wishes and hugs to you both

Tanner - welcome to the board !! This is a good sight for us guys, too. It helps us try to understand a little better, what our ladies are going through and how we might be able to help them.
Plus if you read some of the rants...you'll know what the other guys do that tick off their ladies, and then you'll know what not to do !! LOL
But seriously...it's great that you're interested enough & love her enough to come here & try to find out all you can about PCOS, and how to help her live with it.

I am quite frankly surprised there aren't more men here but mabey as the word gets out a little more then more men will show up. As wonderful as my fiance is I think that I should do as much as humanly possible to support her in every way possible, she certainly goes the extra mile for me.

Not many guys come on here, probably bc many don't understand, some don't want to, some don't recognize what a value this is....etc. However, good for you. Know that this board can be a huge resource for you as well, helping you to understand better what's going on and how you can be supportive.
