Angry i am new.....help!

was diagnosed last year. just had surgery last month for wedging and removal of benign tumor. just getting back to normal. very painful surgery. i feel bad for those who had c sections. it was awful. and i ended up getting an abcess where the incsion was. gross and painful. however i had a period with no meds. i feel drained and sad all the time. what helps with that. and all the acronyms are frustrating lol but i am sure i will figure them out. okay done ranting. feel better now oh and i was on clomid for a year. did not help me. was on 150 mg i posted this already.. no replies idk what i am doing... lol this site is confusing

Welcome to the site. I am pretty new here too but have joined a few groups. Sounds like a painful surgery but that's great that you had a period on your own. I did clomid too to no avail but switched to femara and it has worked for me. No preg. yet but hopefully this month. I hope you feel better soon.

HSG- Clear...nice looking uterus!
DH SA- Good #, little low on the swimming side
5 cycles of Clomid up to the max-No O
1 round of 2.5mg femara-O'd- BFN
5 rounds 5mg femara-O'd BFN (4 IUI's)
BCP in Nov.-Dec.
Femara/Menopur in Jan +IUI
praying for miracle baby really soon

Nice to meet you...I'm Robin. BFP= Big Fat Positive or when you get pregnant. Femara is a type of anti-estrogen medication that often helps people with PCOS when clomid doesn't work. It has made me ovulate consistently for 6 months now. I just O'd yesterday and am now in the 2 week wait. Fingers crossed that this is the month!

i just figured out how to get back to my old threads lol. not easy on this phone. ugh maybe i will talk to my doc about femara if i stop having my period again. right now we are waiting to see if surgery was successful. do you have any kids?
