Hello everyone. My name is Adrianne and I was diagnosed with PCOS in March of 2004. My husband and I have been TTC since June of 2003. I was wonderind if anyone on here has had blood clots in their AF and what that means when you have them? I was told that if it is just blood it is fine, but if it is fleshlike then it isn't. Not tryin to give TMI, but my last AF had really bad blood clots that seemed more fleshlike then blood,but they were dark red like blood. I really would like to know what causes this and whether it may be something to do with my PCOS.

I am not too worried about it. I just wanted to know really how common it is and how it may tie in with PCOS. Thank you for your answer though at least I know I am not alone.

You all shouldn't be sorry, we aren't always going to have all the answers. I do thank you for your replys though. I just needed to know if there are other people out there that are suffering from some of the same things and it looks like I finally have other people to talk to that know what it is like living with PCOS.

I really think that I have found the right place too!!!!!! I haven't been diagnosed with PCOS very long, but I have suffered from it since I was about 12 years old. I just hope that no one on this site gives up hope. Where there's a will there's a way and all the obsticles are worth it.

I also wanted to ask about the sugery they do to remove the cysts off your ovaries. When should I get this done if I do? I have an appointment with my GYN on Feb. 11th and I was going to discuss this with him, but I was told that I might want to wait. I also was told that the cysts are not the cause of my not getting pregnant. I really just want to know what I should do.
