Hi ladies I am new here, I have a 10 yr old and an almost 2yr old, I have been diagnosed with pcos in 01'. But by the grace of God I conceived my toddler naturally. I have been trying just a lil' over a year now for #3, but still no avail. I have irregular periods and I just recently weaned my toddler, I am over weight also...so right now I am really frustrated, I wasted so much money on hpt's this cycle, I got a couple faint positives and the rest negatives including 2 blood test, I am on cd52 and it is just driving me crazy, I am just hoping af will show up soon, so I can go to the fertility doctor to start treatments, anyways thanks for listening

Feb 09: Clomid 50mg cd 3-7, Metformin 1500mg per day, Baby Aspirin + other meds & vits = BFP on March 12
i am new too - and it is just good to know that there are other ladies out there that are going through the same thing - i had never heard of PCOS until this past January - and i am just now starting to get answers and i am still learning about it. But just knowing that i am not the only one is a comfort...

mamawantmore, are you taking any meds? Just wondering.. I had my first 2 kids without even really trying, before my PCOS really went bad. Then we tried for a third, and nothing, until I found a great dr. and he diagnosed me and gave me met. I was able to get pregnant a few months later. Hope this helps encourage you..

Thanks jenny, I really appreciate it. I hope I get that posistive soon also, I am going to my fertility doc on monday to get an ultra sound and blood work done, before they can start me on provera. Did you have your last child naturally or with meds, if you don't mind me asking.

I was on met when I got pregnant w/ my daughter. 1500 mg daily and I was on it about 10 months before I got pregnant. The boys I conceived without anything to help, but then again, that was before my PCOS reared its ugly head!
I just started my "late" period this morning, so maybe I'll start a trend!
