I'm aggrivated and crying....can't believe I'm crying! I finally got my medical forms in the mail (1 week after they were mailed 3 cities away from me) from my dr and they're only 10% filled out. 1 is signed and not dated and the other one isn't signed at all and the only thing that's filled out is my b/p (it's the one for China). There's a note in there from someone in the dr office that my last labs in my file are from 04/04 and they need more current ones. I can't believe it! They've had these forms for TWO WEEKS!
This is not looking very good for my dr since she was going to be my daughters' dr as well....I'm not too happy w/ her at this point. I just called and left a msg for her to call me back.
ETA: I just checked, I dropped these forms off on May 10th...it's now June 16th....over 1 month!

Traci, that's SO pathetic that your doctor's office can't fill this stuff out properly. I'm so sorry for the hassle you are going through right now. I wish there was something I could do to help (other than being a "sounding board".
I can understand your frustration! I'd be crying, too! They really should be more thorough and professional- especially with something so important. I hope they are more prompt this time!

thats completly unprofessional of your doctor....my husbands doc is being kinda of a jerk too... he cant fit him in til mid july... i told him that wasnt going to work...i dont get it.. just keep calling them and calling and calling... annoying them til they fix it

Well, I talked to the nurse. Good news...I'm going in tomorrow. Bad news...I have to get all new b/w done which will take 24 hrs for the results but I don't think she realizes that I'll need an HIV test (which is pretty stupid since I've had one in the last 5 years and the only person DH & I have been w/ is each other.) It takes 2 weeks for an HIV test and I'm gonna be really mad if they have to repeat that one....
The nurse said that my dr said she filled everything out so she couldn't understand the problem. There was one full page that only my b/p was filled out (the one for CAWLI that goes to China...the one that's the most important!). It's stupid anyway b/c my HS agency wouldn't take the one that went to China, they had to have their own which has all the same questions but a different format!
It does make me mad and I'm seriously considering finding another dr for Aimee, I guess we'll just see how tomorrow goes.

Aw man! That sucks! I'm so sorry after all this time you have to go back in for b/w. That just stinks!
I'd be crying too! It's so hard in this process when things out of your control go wrong. I mean, it's one thing if you were to forget to do something or take your time, but when it's someone else's issue! UGH!!
HUGS TO YOU!!! Good luck with the B/W. Make sure EVERYTHING on that form you send to CAWLI is original. THey will make you do it over if it's a copy, I learned the hard way!!

We were told over and over and my agency even sent a form saying that everything had to be filled out and in neat writing or typed otherwise it was considered disrepectful to the Chinese. Makes sense really...
I hope you get everyting sorted out in short order !

I don't blame you at all for being upset, this is all so emotionally draining at the best of times. I left my doctor for the same reason, he sat on a referal fourm for over 2 months and I ended up in emergency hemoraging as a result. I realized then my needs were not on his priority list or even considered semi important. I left the next day.
You hang in there get him to do what needs to be done but when it's all over. Get a new doctor.

Well, I finally have the medical forms but it felt like pulling teeth getting them! We went in, I got my b/w taken then had to wait for the forms to be filled out. We get the forms and some things aren't filled out! So I made the dr fill out what I found wasn't (which I pointed these things out when I handed them to the nurse...didn't even see the dr). Then as we were walking out I realized something else wasn't filled in. So we went back in, as I was leaving (we were literally standing in front of the elevator) I realized she wrote that I was taking medication but didn't write a seperate letter stating what it was for! So I went back in and made her type up a letter!
She said not to mail them off until Monday when my b/w comes back... Can't mail them off yet anyway b/c I'm waiting for DH's forms (his dr may or may not mail them off himself but we're not sure)!
Atleast that's done. I love my dr but this is really frusterating me about her! I started going to her 2 years ago when she was first starting out. She moved in to a new office recently and expanded her practice and I don't think she can keep up now going between the 2 offices and having so many patients. I really think I'm going to have to find a new dr (which I totally hate to do b/c it's hard to find good drs) not only b/c of this but b/c the new office (which she's at more often) is atleast a 45 minute drive each way. We have some great hospitals & drs down the street from us which would be a 10 minute drive each way...I told her she should have moved north rather than south!
