A few months ago I started experiencing two cycles in one month and immediately spoke to my doctor who prescribed Medroxyprogesterone Acetate tabs and I found instant relief. No more cramps, an extremely light flow which allows me to wear pantyliners but unfortunately, it has not stopped the two monthy cycles.
Today, I went to my local supermarket and picked up a magazine called, "First." It caught my attention because of the large screaming words,
"Stubborn Belly Fat?" - and since I know how long I have struggled with my kanga pouch, I happily invested my $1.99.
The magazine profiled different body types and then I came across a woman name Kat Carney and we both appear to share the same issue and I noticed her website was listed, I clicked and voila, a lifeline to peace of mind. I was in awe of the information but what really stopped me in my tracks was the section about PCOS symptoms.
I have many of those symptoms and the irony about all of this, I took an ultrasound as well as a vaginal exam today and it was very refreshing to read about it in such understandaable detail on this AWESOME site. I receive my results in 3 days and am now more prepared than ever !!!
I have made HUGE strides in my weight loss efforts and have always enjoyed exercising so that has never been a problem. My downfall is crunchy and sinful sweet indulgences but I finally made an agreement
with myself two weeks ago to conquer the beast.
So far, it has been wonderful and because I have given up sugar and coffee, I feel calmer in a euphoric type of way. We are all works in progress and I am on my way to being a healthier individual and so are

Welcome to SC! I dxed myself from a women's mag, also. My docs all missed the signs and NO ONE told me about PCOS. I think it should be covered in health class for middle schoolers and teens, but until that day I'm glad Kat is spreading the word
Not all ladies with PCOS have cysts. What other tests did your doc run? Make sure you are tested for insulin resistance and diabetes. Some cysters have high cholesterol, also.
