I was just feeling a little down and I decided to post here. Here lately I have been depressed over finding out my SIL is preggers again. But I have alot to be thankfull for. I am so lucky to have found my DH. He is such a wonderful man (well boy actually but I think they don't turn in to men until they are in their 40's lol). He is so supportive and so loving. Everyday he tells me how pretty I am and how much he loves me. He takes great care of me and is my best friend. I am also so lucky to have my family. My mom did her best raising me and I think she did a great job. She loves all of her children regardless of how much crap we put her through. My little brothers have always been my life and they always will be. I am so proud of them and how well they are turning out. We had a rough childhood but they are great humans. Now all I can do is sit back and watch them continue to grow in to productive people. I couldn't be prouder of my mom and myself for the way they turned out. I am also blessed to have all my friends and all of my cysters. I know I wouldn't be where I am with out all of them... all of you. I consider each of you my friends... someone I can turn to when my world flips upside down or when I just need a shoulder to cry on. I don't know where I would be with out everyone that has been in my life. A really good friend told me an old saying.... When it comes to friends there are reasons, seasons, and lifetimes. Some friends are there for a reason, just to help you when you need it and then they are gone. Some are there for a season, they stay around for a while, maybe to help you through a pregnancy or a death. They stay to help you through that and then are gone. Then there are your lifetime friends. The ones that no matter what are always there and always will be. I consider all of you lifetime friends. No matter what may happen you will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you girls and I am sooo thankfull for everyone in my life.

Hi, Ramona
You are such an important part of SoulCysters and we are very thankful for you. You are an inspiration, rising above the difficulties of your childhood and being able to see that your mom did the best she could. This is such a healing perspective and you are very wise to realize this in time to go on with this insight that frees you to truly love her and your life.
I also pray that your brothers will continue down their good path that they have chosen in life.
And I agree, what a blessing to have a supportive DH. I know that my DH tells me every day that I am beautiful and I really NEED to hear that and never get tired of hearing that! Your DH sounds like a real sweetie. (By the way, my DH and I are in our 40's and yes, the guys do mellow out and become even more delightful then! )
Much love, Kathryn
