Default i bet you dont hear this one often!

I went off the pill and as a result I am now 97 pounds
I used to be 115 so as you can see none of my clothes fit well and my bra has gone to a -A. I need to gain this weight back, im worried. What pills would help me gain it back? And quickly? i dont want to be on the pill for like a year to gain 5 pounds. If i just get back up to 110 then I can go off and maintain a steady weight. Im 5'7.

You may want to try a pill tha has more progestin effect. It ups your appetite. Demulin did this for me but made my skin beautiful!!!

Default I don't recommend BCP for weight control

My two cents:

I don't think it's a good idea to seek BCP's for weight control.

Sounds like you are very thin to begin with, BCP or not. Could it be you are just hoping that going on the BCP will help you get back to your maximum weight rather than for anything else the pill was actually designed to do?

For best results and to maintain a healthy system, I suggest that you talk to your doctor about gaining weight the healthy way before resorting to meds that are not designed to control weight gain or loss.

Believe me - BCP can totally screw you up - don't take it if you don't have to.

Hi!

I don't know you so apologies if I repeat things which have been said a million times before.

Your weight is low enough to be quite concerning. Have you ruled out a physical cause for this? (er, thyroid springs to mind, but maybe there are others).

And again, this may be a stupid thing to say, but are you eating with the intention of gaining weight? (And planning it, not just stuffing yourself, but eating plenty of protein and thinking about exercise to build muscle.)

I like the fact that the pill makes my breasts larger, for me it's a beneficial side effect. But I don't see that the pill - or a few pounds of water retention - is enough for your needs. At your weight I would be worried about osteoporosis, for example. And all that bleeding...are you anaemic?

I hope you find a good solution for you anyway.
Best wishes
Alex
