I am at a conference right now and today they were *giving* away these two really great books -- Better Food for Your Baby and Better Food for Kids. They are recipe books and nutrition guides. Well, I actually picked them both up and got them autographed. For the last 26 months while we have been ttc I have not allowed myself to buy things or pick up things for a baby for fear that it would just add to my grief. Now that we are starting the adoption process, it feels so good to know that soon we will have a baby in our home and I can go ahead and start to plan for real... These 2 books today made it seem so real!!

I know how you feel. When I finally knew I was going to adopt I started buying cute little things and also did so as a act of faith.
You know you will have a child....I always said that, I said I don't know "when" but I "know" I will have a little one and now I do have the answer to my prayers here with me. Praise God.
Good luck with your process. I hope yours and everyone elses is a speedy one!
