Thumbs up I can't believe it - I ovulated yesterday :-)

Dear All,

I want to thank you all for your advice and support, especially scarlet, kma, tracy ... and all other of my cysters who tried to help me with this problem !!! I am really sure that I ovulated yesterday and today I could embrace and kiss the whole world !!! I am soooo happy !!!!

To find this forum and search for advice may was one of the best decisions/things I have ever done before in my life .... :-))

FYI: I've taken saw palmetto and bee pollen twice daily for two weeks now (and vitex for two months now) and the result is: I ovulated yesterday on cd 62 (!!!). Isn't that weird ? And - I probably hadn't ever heard about saw palmetto without you, so: finally it's almost only the success of each of YOU !!!

Thank you again, I like you all so much,
Scarlett

That's so fabulous, Scarlett! I'm so happy for you - I know exactly how wonderful that feels!!!

How are you monitoring ovulation, by the way?

Smile ovulation

Thank you, Lucie !!!

I have a fertility monitor and this time the lines on the stick looked really really good. Better than ever before !! So I cannot be sure for 100 % but I am sure for 99,9 % that I ovulated this time (finally !). All the other stuff like ewcm and cervix was fine, too. I havn't had these signs for years !!! I'm totally in shock and cannot think of anything else at the moment !!!

Do you ovulate regularly ? What are you taking or going to take ?

I have fairly regular, but incredibly painful, periods (e.g., 35-40 day cycles), but I don't think I ovulate every time...don't know if that's possible, many I am ovulating every time and I just don't know it? Anyway - there are times when I can really really tell because I get mittelschmerz and EWCM (and those tend to the shorter, less painful cycles).

I am going to start testing for ovulation, or at least charting, because we are hoping to start ttc in the fall. I might invest in a fertility monitor then, too.

Wink

Thank you all !!!!

@lucie: An infertility monitor is a very good investment with our whack (sp?) cycles.... but I would try it 1 or 2 months before you do ttc, only to get used to it and the meaning of the lines on the sticks. That's a kind of own science ... good luck !!! I suppose you will get pg soon because you ovulate at least sometimes on your own; that's a big help !! Isn't it a wonderful experience to ovulate on your own ? The "normal" women couldn't imagine how I felt and reacted when I saw my lines on this beautiful sticks ....

@kma: My congratulations to you, too :-) !! How are you ? Did you get (the real) af ? I followed your messages and was so convinced that this was it for you !! But the ovulation on your own is also a really beautiful experience, so let's hang in there !!!

@ellia: Also my congratulations to you, too :-) !! You ovulated with SPI, right ? I will try this the next cycle and may be we are buddies if this cycle fails ....

@all: What do you all think - when is the best time to bd ? On the o-day or one or two days before ?

Again, thank you all for your replies !!! Scarlett

Hey Scarlett!!

I'm so glad I helped. Hope your cycles get shorter and shorter as the weeks go by.

IMHO the best times to BD are one or two days before O, the day of O and the day after O.

Smile "o"

@scarlet: Oh yes, you helped a lot !! Thanks for your good wishes but I almost wouldn't believe it if my next cycles should last only 28 days or so. I think I will get a heartattack or something .... that would be soooo wonderful !!

@kisha: You're soo right !! That would be a great experience if we all - at the same time - fall pg !! Since I ovulated I also believe that we all will get pg sooner or later (hopefully sooner) and that feeling makes me sooo happy, too !!

@lil eve: Thank you ! I thought this, too. Unfortunately, we were only able to bd three days before o and the day of o. So, may it wasn't enough but, anyway, ovulation was the first goal and I did it naturally. Yippieh !!
