Default I can’t concentrate – too many thoughts...

I’m feeling like something is wrong with me– I’m trying to determine if it’s stress or anxiety or something. Lately I can’t calm down my thoughts. It’s like I’m thinking a million things at once. I can’t explain it. I’m having a hard time concentrating. Take driving for instance. I feel like I get in the car and I wind up where I want to be, but the drive I don’t quite remember it – it’s like I’m on auto pilot.

Does this make sense to anyone?

I totally get that! I was experiencing that problem for a long time. Like all the thoughts in your head are going on fast-forward. I was told it was depression, but after 2 Eward visits they diagnosed me with Type II Bipolar Disorder. You can pm me if you ever need to talk, but I would go to your family doctor who could refer you to a psychiatrist and get you on some meds that will help.

You might want to consider AD/HD.....that's what I have (in addition to depression)

WOW! I knew I was'nt going crazy. I mean, it's possible we may all have something different that seems related to PCOS, but I really think there is a connection. I feel like I have "goldfish" brain! I can't concentrate or remember anything. I mentioned to my regular doc and she seemed to think there was something to this. However, when she referred me to an endocrinologist, he looked at me like I was speaking another language. He kept looking at me like-interesting but not likely. He told me this was from stress! Can you believe this coming from an endocrinologist! Someone who should know about the reports and connections made with these types of symptoms. He said this to me and just changed subjects! I'm really starting to wonder if I'm ever going to get adequate help and answers. So, to answer your question, YES! This is definitely a common complaint of many of us. I hope this helps you feel less of a freak and more understood. Hope this helps.
