soooo..this is my first clomid cycle. I chart with TCOYF and it gave me an egg on CD26 although i hovered right above the coverline for the first four days and has since gone up nicely (the temp, that is) I had a prog. test on monday CD30 and the doc. said it came back borderline for O, he wants me to wait at least two weeks from the bw day and see if I test pos or bleed, then do provera if nec. and go to 100 of clomid. I always get tender breasts after O and I don't this time. For some reason, I just don't think I O'd inspite of BW and charting....I'm going crzy!

Ok, so was your ovulation day 4 days before your P4(progesterone) test?
If your doc did it earlier or later than 7dpo, the results aren't accurate. HTH!

Samie is right (of course, she is ALWAYS right, that's one reason we ♥ her so very much). If your P4 was done more than 7 days after O, it wouldn't be an accurate read. If it was done before the 7 days past O, it would also be inaccurate. If your temps reflect O, then most likely, you Oed. I did Clomid 50mg and didn't O. I knew it just by reading my temp charts.

July-I did 50mg of Clomid back in January. It's been a long journey for me to get to this point. September was 150mg of Clomid+trigger+IUI. Now I'm on injectables and waiting to see what happens.

Just to clarify, this was an unmonitored cycle, the only reason he did the P test was because i called and said it was CD30 and I hadn't ovulated (chart hadn't given me an O yet). He wanted to do the P test before telling me to start provera. My question is this...even though it wasn't a 7 dpo test, lets say the software is right and I O'd four days before, does that mean that the borderline tests says the Prog. was on it's way up or it does it mean anything at all? Beth, your progesterone could very well have been on it's way up if you went in only 4 DPO.

Beth, I think that if it was 4dpo, then the P4 test is showing progesterone on its way up. It peaks at 7dpo typically, and if there's implantation, it will generally increase, if not, it will drop and Estrogen will take back over/be more dominant.
