So started 75iu of Follistim 2.5 weeks ago. Bumped up and up until I took 175 Tuesday night and 150 Weds/Thurs.
My e2 levels have done this
9/25-44
9/29-56
10/2-75
10/6-82.3...
Today- 440 (over five times higher than it was three days ago!)
So all in all this sounds pretty good, right??
Problem, my RE saw nothing happening on my right ovary, and she couldn't find my left one at all. This is a chronic problem, my ovaries wander and most of the time they are very difficult to find. Usually with some mashing and pressing on my stomach she can find them, but today lefty was nowhere to be found. Obviously lefty is the one with whatever follicles that are developing, but we have no idea how many or how big.
My RE called me personally, usually the nurses call, and told me that she can't be sure she hasn't overstimmed me since my levels rose so fast, but she doesn't really know since she couldn't find my ovary. So she lowered my dosage down to 125iu for the next two nights and I'm going back on Sunday.
It's just never easy and straight forward is it??

Clomid and Femara (May-August) No O Sept/Oct-Follistim-BFN Oct/Nov-canceled due to cysts, will resume end of Nov.
