Default I decided not to take the Spiro

I went in to the doctor to review my bloodwork for my thyroid and we had talked earlier that he would write me a script for Spiro. I decided to decline though. I just don't want to take another pill and you read the side effects for the spiro and I got nervous.

My hairgrowth does seem better over the past few months. I also didn't want to mess with my cycles. I was hoping that it would help with weight loss though.
My doctor said that I could still take it if I wanted, I am just not sure.

I had lots of problems with heavy frequent periods, but some ladies have no problems on it!

It didn't help me lose any weight it just takes off water weight which is very minimal.

Good luck!

i started taking Spiro about two months ago. What side afects are you aware of with this med? Do you know if sore breasts is one of them? My breasts are sore and am wondering if it could be from this med. I don't see any hair growth slowing down on my face, but I think that my hair on my head isn't geting any worse. Any info at all about this med would be helpful. Thank you Cathy melecio

I've been on spiro for nearly a month now and don't notice many side effects...apart from tiredness and frequent peeing!

should I be looking out for something in particular?
