Default I don't know what is going on w/ me..

I was just dx'd a little over a month ago.. since then more blood work..
I have the high insulin, tryglicerides and a high fasting blood sugar. I am scheduled to see an endocrinolgist in a little over a month...

I have been having (TMI) a lot of discharge, some has been yellowish and some has been just clear, today I have had TON of clear discharge..

THEN I was sitting on the toilet... I got a crazy dizzy feeling. EVERYTHING was spinning and I thought that I was going to pass out for sure. It was the worst feeling.. I have also been seeing spots lately, I called the Dr and they set me up with an eye Dr appt. they didn't seem to think their was a problem.

I am just so upset about all of this and the things that I am feeling...

I know that I cannot get medical advice here.. just hoping that someone may have had the same feelings or have a clue as to what I should do.

My OB wanted me to take Yas but due to some other health issues I can't.. She didn't want to put me on Met because she said that it can be hard on your system, she would rather I see an endocrinologist for that.

One 3/13 my fasting insulin was 17. Dr said that is high but she didn't seemed concerned.

Blessings..

Hi Heather,

Do you have any pain (abdominally)? i would not consider yellow discharges as nothing to worry about. Try to make another appointment with you OBGYN saying that you are really worrying.
For your blood sugar, try to find foods that have a low glycemic index. you can google to find all those. I have been trying that lately and I have to admit that I feel so much better. I have not have my glucose test results yet but I need to lose weight and I am just be being proactive about sugar since diabetes runs on both side of my family. I have also started to take cinnamon with chromium. I has helped with my craving for sweets.

When you were experiencing the dizziness and such, had it been a while since you'd eaten? Or had you, by any chance, eaten a lot of carbs about two to three hours earlier? Maybe been physically active just previously?

I'm thinking that the dizziness was probably related to your blood sugar, and I think that's what the other posters are trying to say, too. Even seeing spots might be related to high blood sugar.

As for the discharge, I believe that clear is healthy. It probably even means that you're ovulating. Cervical fluid, which is clear and sorta gel-like, is supposed to facilitate the flow of sperm for fertilization, according to books I've read. Yellow sounds more like bacterial vaginosis or a yeast infection, so you probably want to get that checked out.

Ive had dizzy spells like that before too. Thats before I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, but even after I had some and I believe that my sugar bottomed out at those times. Definately something to consult your doctor about.

Take care,
April
