Unhappy I don't think met is working anymore

Hi, I've been using met for about 3 or 4 years and currently take 2000mg a day (and have done for about 2 years) but about a year ago I stopped losing weight (despite upping my exercise) and af has now stopped coming regularly (it was regularish up until about 6months ago). I also seem to be losing my motivation and becoming really paranoid about things again. I'm worried that the met isn't working anymore and was wondering if anyone else who's been taken met for a while has had this problem. It's really started to get me down the last couple of months because I don't know what I'll do if the met isn't working very well. It took me so long to get it prescribed and my doctor is absolutely no use at all - the less she see's of me the better! I hope someone can help me!

I really think you should go to the dr so they can recheck everything and make sure it is still working. If it isnt, they might want to up it a little bit more.

good luck

Thanks Tracy. Unfortunately my doc has no idea about PCOS or met and simply prescribes what I ask her to! I usually have to print her information out from the net to attach to my medical files so unless I can find something else to treat the pcos I'm stuck!!
