I'm 24 yrs old and and I have had hypothyroidism for 3 yrs now. For the past 2-3 yrs I do not get any visits from AF except for the times that I've taken provera. About 2 mos ago my ob-gyn told me that I have PCOS. My husband and I would like to concieve a child but my progesterone is at 0.5. I'm very worried and don't quite understand what this means. What kind of effect will this have on my chances of becoming a mother?

Now that your diagnosed you have a good chance because that means the dr's know what they need to do to help you conceive!
You will most likely need progesterone supplements (I think they have a pill, suppository or shots) and if your having problems with not ovulating you'll most liekly be put on clomid and/or metformin.
