Have you ever felt like you dont have control over you life? On Friday (yes the 13th what are the chances) I went to the hospital because i woke up to major cramps in my pelvic area. Turns out that my ovaries had some cyst that may have ruptured. They said it could have been caused from Clomid! So a Friday wasted, since from 8am to 5pm i was at the hospital. My next cycle I will be started IUI. Well on the 29th of this mth is my 1 year with my hubby. Hmm when do you think i will have my AF this mth... Should be this weekend, so when do you this they will do IUI.. over my 1 year! Im starting to think my body hates me! I want a baby so bad. I thought making a baby would be fun but its been a lot of pain. Pain from the testing, the disapointment everything. My hair is starting to fall out, i have facial hair that i pluck daily, i will not walk out of my home till i make sure all of my acme is coved with make up. I dont want PCOS! I wish this was some way, some medicine to get rid of this.
When you talk to someone about PCOS, the ones that have heard of it, think oh so you have problems concieving... Well thats only a part of it! You have to stop and this of the small things that go with it. Im only 21 years old, my doctors tell me all the time, about the diabetes that you can get, the heart problems the weight gaining, I just dont want!!! I want to be normal! I suffer from depression from PCOS as well! Somedays i feel im going crazy!

Aww hun, I'm sorry that you are feeling so down. PCOS can be so hard to deal with and at times you just don't know what to anymore...but I hope that things will soon start to get better for you...I will say a little prayer for you

I'm sorry that you had to go through all that. I was having a really crappy day a few days ago and made my boyfriend look up PCOS so he could get an idea of all the crap I'm going through. I also printed a huge stack of PCOS information for my Mom, so she could understand what I'm going through too. Some people think PCOS is just infertility, but it's a WHOLE cluster of nasty, embarassing, painful and depressing things. I completely understand what you're going through. I could have written most of it myself, from the TTC to the depression. ::hugs:: Honey!!

Kym - Your post sounds very similar to mine about 7 months ago. I have managed to get back on track since than with lots of sacrifice. Welcome Back! If you would like a little advice, or inspriation: here's a short brief about me in the last few months:
* Had daughter 2004
* Gained 55lbs after having my DD (actually lost 35lbs PG)
* Started losing my hair,acne, growing extra hair, moody, depressed, tired Just couldn't handle it anymore!! Here is want I did:
* Joined Soulcysters for support
* Ran, Ran, Ran as fast as my big'a*s could take me to my OBGYN
* Started taking MET again (my life saver)
* Started following low GI diet & reduced Carbs and Fat
* Exercised (walking 30min a day - that's all)
* Started taking my Vitamins -B Complex, B12, Folic, Fish Oil and Calcium. 7 Months Later: Conclusion!
* Have managed to lose 65lbs
* Feel much more healther, happier, and a lot more energy to run after my DD
* I have less hair on my body, more hair on my hair, and my acne is much better
* I started TTC in Feb/07 and got a BFP in April
& stopped smoking!!
I FEEL GREAT!!!! If I can do it, any one can!!!!

Thank you guys for the support! There are just some days that i feel that i cant handle what i have on my plate. My husband is really supportive and so is my family. But its a hard situation im in. I am currently stationed at Fort Sam Houston (my husband is in the military). My family is 19hrs away in Valpo Indiana. I dont know anyone really in Texas. We leave here in July, for places unknown. Its just so hard to deal with the military and PCOS. Thank you guys so much for the kind words, they mean so much to me!
I know exactly what you're going through. I think we all do. Each and every single one of us has had "one of those days". I had "one of those weekends" this past weekend. I think I'm doing okay now though. Feel free to PM me if you ever need someone to listen.

I know exactly how you feel! I was just in the hospital 2 weeks ago ecause of some of my cysts rupturing. It is no fu, but unfortunatly what holds us back makes us stronger. If you need somebody to listen to you, please feel free to PM me and I will be there for you!

People think pcos is nothing but theres like way more to it then infertility
I hate my spots my hair my hormons my bouts of depression the fact that i might not have kids
