Default I was expecting side effects, but...

... not this quickly! Last night I took my first dose with dinner. About an hour later DH and I left for Walgreens. I wasn't there more than 5 minutes and "it" hit me! I wanted to wait until I got home, but my body didn't give me a choice.

Here's to hoping today is better!

The exact same thing happened to me when I took my first dose...and NEVER again. Your body will adjust! Good luck!

If you were going to have side effects that is when you would have them is right away. Most people have them at first and then they subside. I had a little diarrhea and upset stomach for about a week when I started Met and nothing else for a year. You'll adjust.

Thanks ladies...

Actually, today is the worst day yet. I'm looking forward to my pants fitting better though lol. I guess there is an upside to everything.

I went out last night and bought a bunch of low carb, low sugar, low fat snacks and meals. I hope this helps.

Thanks again!

Are your doses coinciding with high carb/high fat or greasy meals? I found WHAT I ate affected me greatly and when I finally got committed to controlling my insulin with my diet (and not counter-ating the drug), my side effects literally went away overnight.

Feel better!

Same thing w/ me......my first dose last Friday I felt pretty sick by Saturday morning. Most of Saturday I was queasy but now I'm fine! I'll be on 1000 mg this Saturday and 1500 the week after.
