It seems like I've been waiting forever. (I'm so impatient anyway!) I'm just relieved that she told me what I knew had to be true! I am kind of nervous about taking so much medicine, I'm already on meds for my high blood pressure. Now I'm taking metformin 500mg a day to start, Aygestin to start my period (hopefully), and effexor for my depression and anxiety. I've lost 5 pounds in two days, I hope that's a good sign that my meds are working! Thank you so much for all the support you ladies have given me while I was waiting!

Congrats on your diagnosis!! It must be such a huge relief! I'm sure it seems like a lot of meds right now, but I'm sure once you get into the swing of things it will seem easier to take them all every day.
I'm yet to be diagnoised with PCOS. I actually had my first blood test done yesterday and I see the Dr on Monday morning. Like you I feel like I must have PCOS, so I know it's just a matter or time before I get the offical Dr diagnosis.

isn't it funny that we get so flustrated at the drs who are taking forever to give us a diagnoses that seems like it will end out world but that we are so happy to finally hear?
