I gave Pamela a tootsie roll, and she had 2, and 50 points (actually 45) were taken away instead of 22.5. How can I give it to someone else? Or get it back. I guess the points don't matter, Pamela generously donated the points back to me. But, still, I wonder what went wrong and how to fix it in the future if it happens again!

I just looked under Pamela's profile and the two tootsie rolls have the exact same message. So the only thing I can think of is maybe you double clicked or clicked the confirm button twice without realizing it?
I am not sure how that happened, but that's the only scenario I can come up with.

Oh, btw, you can check your history (under the Ribbons & Gifts menu) too and look at the time they were given (the gifts). If its in the same minute, I'm guessing double clicking may be the culprit.

That sucks that the gift didn't show on the other end... Maybe that person deleted it? That happened to me once about a day after I bought the gift... I was kinda ticked! Hide it ok fine, but don't delete it!

I don't think I'm understanding your post... You gave a gift and reputation points to someone and they're not showing up?
Reputation points are seperate from gift points... If you gave a gift to someone, it should show up where your new gift is on their posts. Also you can view it in their profile (unless they've deleted the gift).
You can't view the comments you leave on the rep points (karma). It adds to a total count which increases the number of those little green boxes.

If you look under USER CP, you should see a list of your gifts. You may have a red line thru the eye (visbility) and that may be why your rainbow isn't showing up. If you delete gifts someone gives you, I don't think you can get them back... So don't click the red X...
