I get so nervous

BM called today, I have it set up where she can call a 800 # and it goes directly to my phone and she won't have to call collect. Anyways, she calls and wants to know if I sent off that money for the clothes, I told her yes, she said her BF was out of town working and things are looking up for them with the situation that they had. I told her that I put some stuff on layaway for the baby, like sleepers, blankets, ya know boy stuff that I don't have and she didn't SAY A WORD! I was like oh no....I don't like when she does that. I want to feel secure in this and somethings I just feel lost and confussed. Which I know she's just that way because she was like that a lot the first time we adopted, but this is just unneccesary in my eyes, I shouldn't have to feel so NERVOUS about this. I'm gonna wait till around the end of the month when our money for the adoption is secure in the bank before I set up the pre homestudy and before I send the retainer to the lawyer in the other state. Then I think I need to talk to her and let her know that I've done this. Do you? I mean I think I need to say to her okay listen we're getting ready to do the homestudy and I've sent the lawyer where you live money so he's gonna be wanting to contact you pretty soon with what he needs to do. I'm just nervous....sorry I'm babbling, but I don't like conversations like that where I feel I said something wrong.

Can you write up a legal document now that says her & her bf are responsible for all moneys spent by you & DH if the adoption doesn't go through? I know they have paperwork like that through agencies and I'm almost positive that an adoption attorney would be able to help you. It may make you feel more secure and she'll know you're serious if you go as far as to have her & bf sign that paper.

I would feel very nervous aswell. Please keep us informed - you are in my thoughts until Braxton Is home with you.

I cant imagine what you are going thru...just remember what is meant to be will be

Including having Braxton in your arms

Make sure you keep track and have receipt of all monies paid to her (just in case)
