Default i get very angry!

i dont know if it is hormones or i just that my pent up emotions come out this way..

we are TTC and at the face of it, looks like i am coping very well, even negative OPKs and HPTs do not upset me much, i always think well there is always another chance, whereas hubby gets extremely up set and angry and i am the only one there to face his anger. i also think that my optimistic outlook gives him the message that i dont really want a baby...and he is desperate for a baby.

lately i have become extremely snappy....... i snap at him for small insignificant things and very small things lead upto major fights. And all he can say is that my mental status is not good and that aggrevates me even more.

i feel as if i am getting back at him for getting angry at me for something that is not in my control....my body.

i feel very angry and this is not like me...i used to be a very out-going and a very happy person evne in the face of crisis.

i dont know what to do........... i want my control back!

I see you are taking Clomid- that can wreck havoc with your emotions! Not to mention the stress of being TTC. Don't be to hard on yourself and educate yourself (and DH) on the side effects of Clomid! Good luck!

Hi Zee,

I totally understand how you feel. My DH and I are TTC, and though I get frustrated sometimes, I tend to be an optimist about it. He deeply wants a baby (trust me, the man is the most baby-loving man on the planet), and gets really discouraged and down every time we "fail" (meaning every cycle when AF shows). It's hard for me to deal with because I still see every AF as a sign my body is starting to function normally and has the potential to conceive (my cycles have only been starting to get more regular in the past few months, so I'm still encouraged to see AF).

Lori's exactly right that Clomid can cause major moodiness. You should definitely make sure your DH knows that. And, increased sensitivity/emotionality is an absolutely normal occurance in our luteal phase.

Don't know if I've helped much, but wanted you to know you are very much not alone.

Here's hoping you'll be pg soon!
Lissa

Zee..
What these ladies have said is so true "Clomid" is a nasty initiator at times and you have no control there I like you and more like lissadell ( I see AF as a work in progress nice to know she is almost normal) I will say our 1st IUI round with inj's blew DH's mind and I hated to see it in his face.. I am talking from someone on a break (sig says it all) we needed this break or we might "break" I know I put TTC to much into daily life and we need to get "us" back.. there are many emotions we feel that are not always our norm..hang in there.. and remember "your time" no matter what together that means.. prayers to you
