Since this is my first and I have no clue what to do, maybe you guys can answer a couple of questions for me? Since the doctor confirmed with a beta, shouldnt I be getting a second one to make sure the HCG is doubling? ANd also, I am not having an ultrasound for almost 2 weeks from now. Why would he schedule it so long from now? Well, it seems long to me anyway. I called his office and his nurse said he did not have a 2nd beta scheduled in my file. What gives?

I think the US is fairly normal and they want to schedule it when they know you can hear the baby's HB.
If you are not an at-risk pregnancy I don't think all doctors monitor the beta numbers. I think they will probably do it if you request it though. | |
