Default i got clear skin!!!! :)

the other day i was debating on what to buy and after looking at off-brands of neutrogena & st ives facial cleansers, both of which ive used the originals of, i believe, i settled on Phisoderm bar soap. figured i could get the other stuff any time but i should at least try this. so i did...

i have large pores. i hate my skin. it looks uneven and i have a cluster of zits, not sure if its really acne bcuz its all in one spot and then i also have a few here n there on my face. so...i been using the Phisoderm soap for my face and it makes my skin look good and this big disgusting zit that popped up rite around the cluster of zits is decreasing and the redness in that area is diminishing. its noticeable to me anyway and it seems also that it makes my pores look better. ive had the soap for about a week and its lasting, but i just use it on my face. i think u can use it anywhwere. but i figured at over a buck but less than two, if it lasts for a while then its probably the equivalent of buying a 4 or 5 dollar cleanser per month, give or take, depending on how much longer it lasts. but so far its a week tomorrow and i still have it so its probably going to last for at least another week.

also...
i tried a product i got for a dollar in a sample pack at dollar general. its called Acne Free and you can get a big pack of it at walmart and even my mother noticed. she said, "did you use that stuff?" then she put on her glasses like she usually does to inspect things and was telling me how good my skin looked. but that was the FIRST day i used it! she could tell it even made a difference and so could i!!!

so i would recommend either of those two because THEY WORK! i also had Clinique when i was younger and it was good. my cousin used to swear by the soap...he worked outside & broke out in certain spots and once got a big zit and said it cleared it up the next day! i had some too but dont remember how well it worked. my aunt bought it for me bcuz she was buying some for him, too.

hope this helps guys!!! so remember:

Phisoderm
or
Acne Free

Thanks for sharing your products! I have been using Clearisil like crazy and it doesn't seem to be working.

never had much luck myself w/ clearasil. dont know why...but i think its clearasil gel that peels off your skin like its skin!!! but neutrogena clear pore treatment (dont remember the exact name but its the salicylic acid treatment that goes on clear, either during the day or at nite i dont even remember) well that one doesnt peel.
and the blackheads in your nose are actually oil that gets clogged in the pores & when it breeds bacteria is when it turns black. also...u can get this pore scraping thing and that works for those nasty clogs...sometimes i put it against a pore that looks really bad and this stuff oozes out like one of the deadites in Evil Dead! i love it!!!

I been using Acnefree also, for about 3 weeks and my skin looks great!! I am so happy with the results, the only thing I noticed after a few days with using it was that my skin did get dry, but I just put some of the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Cream on my face and that helps alot with not drying it out. Plus the Palmer's is good also to smooth marks on your face and softens your skin. I also just bought the scar and erease kit by AcneFree and used it for 3 days so far, but I am really pleased how well my face looks now. I don't have bad acne just get some breakouts around my jawline and chin area. I bought the scar and erase because it says it evens out skin tone and reduces appereance of marks. But I am really happy with there products and how my face looks now that I been using it!

Right now I am using some stuff by Cetaphil. I just went to my dermatologist and she told me because I have eczema I can no longer use any lotions with scents in them. I had to give one of my good friends all of my Bath and Body Works lotions My husband told me to keep one for special occasions. I had to throw out my Clinique soap and astrigent. No more of that. I was told no more scrubs or anything that exfoliates the skin. No wascloths, no detergents with scents, fabric softeners with scents, or dryer sheets. No shaving gels or creams that are scented. No moisturizers that are scented. She also told me to stop wearing perfume! That was the final straw! Not getting rid of that.

So as of right now I am breaking out like crazy and trying to get used to using new stuff. I really need somethng for my blackheads as well. My nose too is a breeding ground for these things. Can anyone suggest anything? Right now I am also trying some products by Aveeno. I was cleared for those.

Mizme, I suffer from eczema too and have had doctors to tell me to get rid of everything as well... but I've found that through trial and error you can still have nice scented stuff. Things with natural/organic scents are much better than artificial ones.

Coal tar shampoo and soap has been my best friend when dealing with eczema and psoriasis - a week of using that stuff and drinking lots of water and it usually clears up for me.

GothicCyster- I think the AcneFree Erase and Fade Kit does work, I haven't seen alot of big difference I guess but I do see that it is helping to smooth my skintone out. I am using both I do the AcneFree 3 step kit once a day and then I use the Scar and Erase once a day, but my skin looks very good now. I am happy with the results. I just saw at Wal-Mart today that they had the AcneFree 3 step kit for a little over $18 but you get a small sample of the Scar and Erase creams with it, it is all together so you can try it. I just know that for me the Acnefree really made a difference and it works. I just been using the 3 step kit once a day because I did notice that it was drying my face out if I used it twice a day, but using Palmers Cocoa Butter on my skin also helps alot with it not drying out.
