I don't know why she might not have been able to log in the first time, but once she registered under a new name, a confirmation email would have been sent to the email address she gave. If she doesn't click on the link contained in that email, she wouldn't be allowed to log in.
Is she on AOL? If so there are multiple threads in Board Functions on troubleshooting that.
What happened when she tried to log in? If it was a banned notice, and she's on AOL, the fix is in board functions. I'd re-write it, but i'm working with an injured hand, so it hurts to type.
Also, what is the username she used for the second acct?

When I had the problem I created raeannanj and raeannanjacobs and they are both doing the same thing too.

Can she be more specific about what happens when she tries to log in with her original name. What she logged in and posting fine one day, and then came one day and couldn't?
Specifics will help me troubleshoot.

This same thing happened to me one time and the reason was because I had negative points....to this day I don't know what happened but someone else donated points to me and that got me back on....is there a way for someone to check that!

she can log in no problem... she gets that error when she tries to post. She can browse no problem.
I logged in as her and noticed her edit siggy isn't available (its not there on the cp) and edit profile picture isnt there either.
She said it started happenning when she changed hre e-mail from her home address to her work address

Anytime you change your email, you'll get another confirmation email (sometimes it ends up in your spam box). you have to click the link to complete the change.
